Concert Violinist / Photographer / Sacred Geometry Artost
With an impressive list of international concert triumphs to his credit, violinist Endre Balogh has performed as soloist with renowned orchestras such as the Berlin Philharmonic, Rotterdam Philharmonic, Zürich Tonhalle Orchestra, Frankfurt Symphony, Los Angeles Philharmonic and the orchestras of Washington D.C., Seattle, Denver, Dallas, and Honolulu to name just a few, and working with such eminent conductors as Zubin Mehta, Edo de Waart, James de Priest, and Christoph von Dohnányi. As a solo recitalist Endre toured the United States and Europe for many years; highlights of which included live televised recitals in Amsterdam and for the BBC. He is an accomplished Chamber Music performer and toured throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe with the Pacific Trio for nearly 30 years. He has also played with such luminaries as Vladimir Horowitz and Leonard Pennario as well as in the acclaimed series of 1993 chamber concerts: “André Watts and Friends.” On four occasions, Endre has joined forces with the renowned theatrical repertory company A Noise Within to compose and perform as a costumed character underscoring for classic plays. Now, he enjoys performing in an entirely different genre of music as the violinist in the group “Paris Chansons”, which consists of three singers, one of whom plays guitar, a keyboardist, bass player, and drummer. They specialize in French and Russian popular music such as Piaf and Aznavour and they perform sold-out shows in major venues all around the US.
Beyond that, he is also a multiple award-winning photographer and graphic artist, whose works are displayed in many prestigious collections. In 2010, Shutterbug Magazine chose one of his photos to grace the cover of their annual “Expert Photo Techniques” guide. Every year since 2016, Endre has been listed among the “Top Ten Photographers In California” by the California Professional Photographers Association. He was also one of only 35 photographers worldwide to receive the prestigious “2015 Diamond Award” at the International Photography Competition held by the Professional Photographers of America.
All his life, Endre has been connected to mysticism, spirituality, and symbolism. In 2006 he began combining his Photoshop skills with his mysticism, leading him to begin creating/channeling his Sacred Geometry artworks. Today, his collection of beautiful Sacred Geometries number nearly 1000. They are acknowledged worldwide to be among the finest of the genre and have appeared on several book and magazine covers. In 2020 the book “Synergeometry” was published and is available on Amazon. It is a compilation of over 100 of his Sacred Geometries, each of which is enhanced by poetry channeled from Spirit by his long-time collaborator Ness Carroll.
